Position Overview

Full-time social worker responsible for identifying social-emotional needs and providing individual and group services as outlined in IEP/504 plans for the 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities

1. Attend district induction sessions and pick up district-issued computer in August 2025.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments including academic, social, emotional, mental health, adaptive functioning, and family/community interactions.
3. Participate in IEP/Eligibility meetings, providing data to support students' social-emotional needs.
4. Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in compliance with laws and district policies.
5. Collaborate with teams to conduct functional analyses and develop behavioral intervention plans.
6. Serve as a liaison with families, providing education and counseling as appropriate.
7. Utilize community resources to meet student needs.
8. Offer individual and group counseling, including groups for at-risk students.
9. Coordinate transition meetings for students entering from early intervention programs.
10. Monitor social-emotional data and provide interventions at Tier 2 and Tier 3 levels.
11. Participate in crisis response and support building-level crisis teams.
12. Maintain accurate records and participate in professional development activities.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

Illinois Licensure with School Social Worker endorsement(s).
