Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a School Social Worker. The position reports to the Director of Specialized Instruction. Location is TBD; the role is full-time with benefits and starts within the MPS salary schedule.

Minimum qualifications include an MSW from an MDE-approved program and a supervised practicum totaling at least 500 clock hours. Preference is given to candidates with experience serving at-risk urban students and strong community networking and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Must have temporary, continuing temporary, or full approval by the MDE Office of Special Education.

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Full-time with benefit package. Starting range $51,814.00-$75,437.00.
