Job summary

Whole Child Therapy, Inc. is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our school-based team serving students at a non-public school partner site in the Inland Empire. This is a direct-service role with a 7-hour paid day, providing individual and small-group sessions on a school-day schedule.

You will not attend IEP meetings; supervision by our SLP is provided and paid, with a focus on direct treatment and prep time within the workday. New graduates are welcome and supported.

Qualifications

• Licensed SLPA in California or license in process with anticipated issue date.
• Degrees in SLPA field or related communications program with field work completed.
• Current CPR, TB clearance, and DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language intervention to students individually and in small groups.
• Follow treatment plans written by the supervising SLP and communicate needs for adjustments.
• Collect session data and complete documentation the same day.
• Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities for AAC users.
• Coordinate with classroom staff to carry targets into the classroom.
• Maintain schedule, track attendance, and schedule make-up sessions.
• Work within the California SLPA scope of practice with supervision provided.
