Qualifications

• Active Texas SLP license (CCC required).
• Prior school-based SLP experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations.
• Experience facilitating ARD meetings in compliance with Texas and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor assigned SLPAs, ensuring high-quality services for students.
• Complete detailed speech-language evaluations for students in need of assessment.
• Organize and lead ARD meetings, collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all timelines and documentation requirements.
