Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school setting to evaluate students and provide therapy services. You will document progress in accordance with each student’s plan of care and physician orders.

Candidates must hold active SLP licensure in the assignment state; CCC-SLP is preferred or may be required by contract. CPR and health documentation may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations.
• Providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student and physician's orders
