Job summary

Socorro Consolidated School District is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to identify and treat students with speech and language impairments within the district’s educational program. You will evaluate, plan, implement, and monitor therapy aligned with IEP goals and ASHA guidelines.

The role requires collaboration with teachers and staff, documentation, and attendance at IEP meetings. Travel between district sites and compliance with licensure requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold NM Public Education license and ASHA certification.
• Maintain 1.0 CEU’s per year for licensure requirements.
• Current Speech/Language Licensure must be renewed as required by law.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate students with speech/language impairments.
• Plan and implement the IEP-based clinical program.
• Collaborate with teachers and district staff; participate in IEP meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and detailed records; report progress.
• Deliver therapy through individual and group sessions; monitor progress.
