Job summary

PediaStaff is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist for a local contract position in Yakima, Washington. This full-time role runs 44 weeks with 40 hours per week, targeting middle and high school students in a school-based setting.

Typical schedule is 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. on weekdays, Sept 2026–June 2027, with a pay rate of $60+ per hour depending on experience and location. Competitive benefits and support throughout the assignment are provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state SLP license or eligibility.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Experience with middle/high school students is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services per students' IEPs.
• Support a caseload of middle school and high school students.
• Provide consultative services for students as needed, especially at the high school level.
• Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, documentation, and required reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff.
• Develop individualized therapy plans to support students’ communication goals.
• Maintain compliance with school, district, and state requirements.
