Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older and have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent with a positive employment history.
• Minimum of two years experience in security/law enforcement is required.
• Must complete traffic control training and maintain CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
• Valid VA Driver’s License; ability to drive district vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Directs traffic at school access points during arrival and dismissal.
• Patrols buildings, grounds, and parking lots to deter disruption and enforce policies.
• Investigates incidents by collecting statements and reviewing surveillance footage.
• Render first aid and CPR as appropriate and notify authorities when needed.
