Qualifications

• Experience in security or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and security-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist administration with daytime and after-school site supervision to ensure safety of students, staff, and district property.
• Implement the site security plan and confer with administration to evaluate its impact on a safe environment.
• Patrol the site inside and outside to monitor security status and report risks.
• Respond to incidents and intervene as needed to maintain security.
• Contact parents when requested by administration about incidents involving students.
• Follow referrals regarding prevention of inappropriate or more serious behavior and enforce policies.
