Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Security Officer License.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• CPR/AED certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances and exits during school hours.
• Verify visitor IDs and enforce access control procedures.
• Conduct routine patrols of the campus and grounds.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances and safety concerns.
• Build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Report suspicious activity and complete incident reports.
• Coordinate with school administration and local law enforcement when needed.
• Assist with arrival, dismissal and special school events.
