Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years' experience in a supervisory capacity in security preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with faculty by allowing entry to the buildings and grounds by authorized personnel.
• Monitor student behavior and enforce school rules related to student conduct, vehicle operation, and parking.
• Control traffic and parking.
• Resolve conflict or confrontation between students and report disturbances to supervisor and police department.
• Patrol assigned routes walking or driving to prevent fires, theft, vandalism, and illegal entries.
• Ensure buildings and grounds are secured and monitor suspicious individuals.
• Stay alert and maintain vigilance during shift.
• Assist with public functions and notify authorities as needed.
• Assist law enforcement as required.
• Prepare written reports and maintain logs of patrolling conditions.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in staff development.
• Supervise evening security personnel and assist in student supervision.

Education
