Job summary

Beeville Independent School District is seeking a dedicated security officer to help maintain the safety of students, staff, and visitors across district campuses and facilities. You will monitor entrances, report incidents, and coordinate with administration to enforce district safety procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a clear Texas driver's license. Basic First Aid knowledge is preferred, and prior experience in law enforcement, fire/rescue, or EMT/paramedic

Primary Purpose:

To maintain the security and safety of students, staff, parents and visitors through close monitoring of assigned District campuses or facilities.

Qualifications::

• High school diploma or GED required
• Clear and valid Texas driver's license
• Basic First Aid knowledge, preferred
• Law Enforcement, Fire/Rescue, and/or Medical/Paramedic/EMT/EMR experience, preferred

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent or his designee may find appropriate and acceptable

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrated aptitude for successful completion of the task assigned Demonstrated knowledge of security procedures

Private security experience preferred including knowledge of school and local laws (including search and seizure)
