Job summary

Seattle Public Schools seeks a dedicated project manager to lead safety, security, and emergency preparedness initiatives across assigned school construction projects from design through completion.

You will establish policies, manage budgets, track milestones, and coordinate with consultants, vendors, and district departments to ensure on-time, compliant delivery of high-quality learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Provides project management for the acquisition and implementation of safety, security, and emergency preparedness (SSEP) related projects.
• Assists with the development of the project scope for SSEP projects.
• Ensures SSEP projects are on time and completed within budget by developing milestones and tracking progress.
• Conducts cost and scheduling variance analysis, recommending corrective actions.
• Oversees work by security consultants and contractors, reviewing plans for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborates with district departments to monitor SSEP compliance and track requests.
