Eastern Lancaster County School District is seeking a School Police Officer at the Secondary site in New Holland, PA to maintain a safe learning environment through patrols, incident response, and collaboration with local law enforcement.

The role requires PA Act 120 MPOETC certification, 2–5 years of police experience, and the ability to oversee security systems, investigate incidents, and engage with students and staff to prevent conflicts.

Competenze

• Must be a certified police officer under Pennsylvania Act 120 (MPOETC certification).
• Minimum of 2-5 years of law enforcement experience preferred (municipal, campus, or school policing experience a plus).
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Mansioni

• Patrol school buildings, grounds, and district property to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide security for students, staff, visitors, and guests.
• Monitor hallways, restrooms, locker areas, and exterior grounds for safety and compliance.
• Assist with student arrival and dismissal, including bus operations and coordination with drivers.
• Monitor and operate security systems including cameras, alarms, and access controls.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of incidents.
