Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, have at least 3 years of related experience (law enforcement or military background preferred), and can pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of related work experience; college degree may count in lieu of 3 years; prior law enforcement or military preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas and ensures safety of campus, buildings and grounds.
• Maintains visible security presence and guides students and staff.
• Participates in risk identification and supports administrative and law enforcement as needed.
• Oversees weapons detection system and serves as safety liaison.
• Assist visitors with information and paperwork; provide customer service.
• Assist with crowd control at events and supervise student gatherings.
• Monitor parking lots and student gathering areas before, during, and after school.
