Job summary

Fulton County Schools is seeking a Campus Security Associate to help maintain a safe school environment. The role involves patrolling campus grounds, monitoring entrances, and cooperating with the School Police Department to address security issues.

You will be part of the safety team that conducts drills and supports emergency planning. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years of related experience, and familiarity with safety systems like Avigilon and GETru Nav video

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• National Incident Management System Certification Levels 100, 200 and 700, CPR & AED Certified within 12 months of employment.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience; law enforcement or military experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Fulton County Schools Board Policies and safety plans; CPTED knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas and ensures safety of campus and facilities.
• Cooperates with School Police Department on campus security issues.
• Maintain visibility and assist with supervision of students and staff.
• Assist with emergency preparedness drills and safety plans.
• Operate security equipment and monitor video systems as assigned.
• Provide administrative security at central offices and greet visitors.
