Job summary

Coal Region Consulting & Investigations, LLC is seeking a dedicated, professional School Resource Officer (SRO) to provide a safe and secure learning environment in the Northern Dauphin County area and surrounding regions. The SRO will maintain a visible presence while fostering positive relationships through safety, prevention, education and mentorship.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, current or retired law enforcement status, NASRO certification, and strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current or Retired Law Enforcement is REQUIRED.
• NASRO Certification Required.
• Experience in public safety or school security preferred.
• Valid driver7s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and clearances.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence in assigned school buildings and campus.
• Monitor grounds and respond to safety concerns.
• Assist with emergency procedures and evacuation protocols.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with school admins, staff, students, parents and local law enforcement.
• Help deter crime, bullying, and disruptive behavior.
• Enforce safety policies with professionalism and respect.
• Conduct security assessments and recommend improvements.
• Participate in school events and activities.
• Serve as a positive role model for students and staff.
