Job summary

Weymouth Public Schools is seeking an Education Support Professional - Security to safeguard students and staff across multiple schools, including Weymouth High School. You will help manage access, supervise common areas, and respond to incidents with diplomacy and discretion.

The role requires an associate degree (or 48 credits) or Massachusetts Endorsed assessments; security experience is preferred. This is a non-exempt, on-site position under the Weymouth Educators Association.

Qualifications

• Have an associate degree or higher, or at least 48 post-secondary credits, or have met Parapro/WorkKeys standard.
• Security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage admittance of all students and visitors/substitutes.
• Supervise halls, lunchrooms, and bathrooms to reduce disruption.
• Monitor and accompany students between activities or classes.
• Direct traffic before/after school and assist with parking lot supervision.
• Assist in searches of vehicles and properties when requested and supervised.
