Job summary

Buckled In is seeking responsible drivers in Oakland, CA to transport students to and from school with safety and reliability.

This part-time role offers paid training, a friendly office staff, and a W2 employment arrangement, with summers off when available. You will follow specific hours, typically Monday through Friday, with opportunities for referral bonuses and career growth within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Current car insurance and valid vehicle registration
• At least 3 years of legal driving experience
• Own a four-door vehicle in good condition and a smartphone
• Able to pass onboarding (BCI/FBI fingerprinting, drug screening, 19-point vehicle inspection)
• Read, write and speak English at proficient level

Responsibilities

• Drive K-12 students safely and reliably to and from school
• Create a positive, kind, and welcoming environment for children
• Communicate consistently with parents, caregivers, and school staff
• Be available from MONDAY - FRIDAY, 6:00-9:00 am and 1-4:30 pm on weekdays
