Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Non-CDL driver to operate school vans and cars for after-school and regular routes in Washington. You will transport students and authorized persons in all weather, performing safety checks and maintaining discipline while on board.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Washington driving license, a clean five-year driving record, CPR/First Aid, and completion of district training for non-CDL drivers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Washington State driver's license required.
• Five years of licensed driving experience.
• CPR and first aid qualifications required.
• Must meet WAC 392-144 requirements.
• Successful completion of District Training Course for Non-CDL Drivers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school vans and cars in all weather conditions.
• Communicate with students, parents, and staff regarding transportation.
• Maintain route sheets and student lists; ensure punctual attendance.
• Assist students entering/exiting the vehicle and in emergencies.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle safety.
