Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified School Registered Nurse (RN) for the West Orange, NJ area to join a supportive district for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract role focuses on student health and safety in a classroom setting.

You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, develop IHPs and EAPs, document health records, collaborate with teachers and families, and participate in IEP/504 planning to support students’ health and academic success.

Competenze

• Active New Jersey RN license required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, clinic, or community health preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work independently.

Mansioni

• Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and emergency response for students and staff.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and district policies.
• Monitor health status of students with chronic/acute conditions and respond to changes.
• Develop and maintain IHPs, EAPs, and student health records.
• Conduct health screenings and maintain confidential documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and healthcare providers to support health and learning.
• Participate in IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings when appropriate.
• Promote health education and disease prevention throughout the school community.
