Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Registered Nurse (RN) for Lancaster, MA. This contract-full-time role pays $55 per hour and requires 40 hours weekly. The School RN will oversee nursing processes, deliver student care, and support students’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being in a school setting.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, managing chronic conditions, and liaising with families, school staff, and healthcare providers. Separate policy and physician orders guide duties.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract.
• One year of school nursing, public health or pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing process and delivery of student care in a school setting.
• Support the physical, mental and emotional well-being of students.
• Promote health and safety and respond to medical emergencies.
• Manage chronic conditions and liaise with families, school staff and healthcare providers.
• Provide services per Amergis standards and physician orders.
