Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee nursing processes and student care in a Lexington, MA school setting. This per diem role supports the health and well-being of students, collaborating with families, staff, and healthcare providers as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in Massachusetts, may have a School Nurse Certification, and has experience in school health or pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
• School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract
• One year of school nursing, public health or pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The School Registered Nurse oversees the application of thenursing process and the delivery of student care in a school setting. TheSchool RN supports the physical, mental and emotional well-being of studentswithin the school setting. The School RN plays an essential role in promotingthe health and safety, responding to medical emergencies, managing chronicconditions and serving as a liaison between families, school staff andhealthcare providers. The School RN provides services in accordance with Amergis’philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state ofemployment
