Qualifications

• Must have two years of certified Police Officer experience as defined by Virginia Code 9.1-101.
• Ability to read and understand laws, policies, rules, and procedures and to follow written and oral directions.
• Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform general duties of a Police/Patrol Officer as required.
• Maintain juvenile law knowledge and school policies; enforce laws relating to schools and juveniles.
• Establish partnerships with school administrators and provide guidance to students and parents.
