Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support schools near Newark, NJ. In this contract role, you’ll provide direct nursing care for students and staff, manage medications, and respond to health emergencies to keep the learning environment safe.

You’ll collaborate with school counselors and administrators, document health records, and educate staff on health protocols. NJ RN licensure in good standing and prior school or pediatric experience are preferred.

Qualificações

In this contract position, you’ll play a vital role in providing essential healthcare services, ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment, and responding to the day-to-day medical needs of students and staff.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid RN licensure in New Jersey, in good standing
• Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, triage, and emergency response
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff

• Collaborate with school counselors, teachers, and administrators to develop individualized health plans

• Respond swiftly to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as necessary
• Serve as a resource for health-related questions and concerns within the school community
