Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. seeks experienced RN school nurses for contract roles across multiple New Jersey school locations.

You will provide comprehensive health support, act as the clinical expert for students, staff, and families, and help maintain a healthy learning environment throughout the school year. The positions run from start as soon as possible through June 25, 2027, with full-time daytime hours (35 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM).

Qualifications

• Active School Nursing RN license valid in New Jersey.
• Prior school-based nursing experience essential.
• Ability to manage caseloads and oversee care for entire school buildings.
• Comfortable navigating district protocols and acclimating quickly to new environments.
• Reliable transportation required; must live within commuting distance.
• LPN candidates are not eligible for these roles.

Responsibilities

• Respond to student health needs, conduct assessments, and manage emergencies with professionalism.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records as required by state and district regulations.

Exciting contract opportunities are now available for experienced RN nurses with a strong background in school-based settings. Step into a pivotal role providing comprehensive nursing support across multiple school locations covering the district. Be the clinical expert supporting students, staff, and families, making a meaningful impact throughout the school year.

This position starts as soon as possible and extends through June 25, 2027, with full-time daytime hoursMonday to Friday, 8:15AM to 3:15PM (35 hours per week). There are currently two openings, offering the chance to collaborate with other dedicated professionals.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active School Nursing RN licensure valid in New Jersey
• Prior school-based nursing experience is essential
• Ability to confidently manage caseloads and oversee care for entire school buildings
• Comfortable navigating district protocols and acclimating quickly to new environments
• Reliable transportation required; must live within a manageable commuting distance
• LPN candidates are not eligible for these roles

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health support across assigned school sites
• Respond to student health needs, conduct assessments, and manage emergencies with professionalism
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records as required by state and district regulations
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and administrators

Onboarding Requirements:

• Current TB test
• Recent physical examination documentation
• Fingerprinting required by both agency and district
