Job summary

Solian t is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to support student health needs in a school setting on a contract basis. The role involves 25-30 hours per week, collaborating with the district RN to ensure timely, high-quality care for students.

The nurse will develop student health plans, train staff on implementation and health topics, and liaise with families and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for student emergencies and daily needs.
• Develop, distribute, and update individualized student health plans.
• Train staff members on implementing student health plans, including chronic condition management.
• Lead in-service training for staff in CPR, First Aid, seizure response, and other health-related topics.
• Liaise with parents, healthcare providers, and administration to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with regulations.
