Soliant is seeking a dedicated RN for a full-time contract in the Chicago Heights area to provide specialized nursing care for a student with complex medical needs during the school day.

The role focuses on direct patient care, coordination with educational teams, and ensuring student safety. Strong experience in pediatric school nursing and G-tube/seizure management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license required.

A fulfilling contract opportunity awaits for a dedicated RN near the Chicago Heights area to provide individualized nursing care for a student with complex medical needs attending SPEED. In this full-time role, you’ll play a crucial part in supporting a student who requires compassionate and attentive healthcare throughout the school day. This assignment calls for an experienced and resourceful Registered Nurse who can respond efficiently to medical concerns and prioritize student safety.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Current and valid RN (Registered Nurse) license
• Prior experience in a school setting highly desirable
• Expertise in G-tube care, wheelchair support, and managing seizure disorders
• Comfort and proficiency supporting non-verbal students
• Understanding of VP shunt care and ongoing monitoring
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and calm demeanor during emergencies
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams, students, and families
• Reliable, trustworthy, and flexible with scheduling

Primary Responsibilities
