Job summary

Amergis, located in Oceanside, CA, is seeking a School Registered/Certified Behavior Technician for a part-time contract. You will implement behavioral plans and support ABA services in school settings, collaborating with BCBA/BCABA supervisors to meet learning and behavioral goals.

The role requires RBT certification or CBT license, supervision, and a relevant associate degree. CPR and health documentation may be required, with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license (as applicable per state/contract)
• Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA
• One year relevant experience preferred
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician works to implement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician can support implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeutic services designed by a supervisor such as a BCBA.

Minimum Requirements:
