Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Registered/Certified Behavior Technician to implement behavioral intervention plans and support educational services for clients in schools. You will collaborate with school professionals and other specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals under supervision of a BCBA/BCABA.

Minimum requirements include RBT certification or CBT license, supervision, and compliance with professional standards.

Qualifications

• RBT certification or CBT license as applicable per state/contract
• Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA
• One year relevant experience preferred
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral intervention plans and support educational and behavioral services
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve goals
• Assist in ABA services designed by a supervisor such as a BCBA
• Support documentation and data collection as required by supervision

The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician works to implement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician can support implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeutic services designed by a supervisor such as a BCBA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license (as applicable per state/contract)

• Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA

• One year relevant experience preferred
