Job summary
Amergis is seeking a Registered/Certified Behavior Technician to implement behavioral intervention plans in West Babylon, NY. This contract–part time role involves facilitating ABA-based educational and behavioral services for individuals with special needs under supervision.
The ideal candidate holds RBT certification or CBT license, with 1 year of related experience; an Associate degree is preferred. The role requires collaboration with school professionals and adherence to professional
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements: RBT certification and/or State CBT license where applicable.
- Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA.
- One year relevant experience preferred.
- Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavioral intervention plans as designed by supervisors.
- Facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs.
- Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
- Support implementation of ABA services as designed by a supervisor.
