Job summary

Qualifications

• Holds or qualified for West Virginia licensure endorsed for school psychologist.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to provide documented experience in interviewing skills.
• Comprehensive testing analysis techniques.
• Evidence of prior successful evaluation and work performance.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document strengths, weaknesses, and learning abilities of referred students.
• Administer psychological and academic evaluations and provide recommendations.
• Participate in 504/IEP meetings and eligibility determinations.
• Coordinate services with pupil services teams and outside agencies.
• Prepare and submit required reports on students with disabilities.
• Provide direct intervention and consultative services to staff, students, and families.
• Attend meetings and maintain case records for referred students.
