Qualifications

  • Licensed School Psychologist credential required (MI).
  • Master's degree in psychology or equivalent.
  • 500 clock-hour internship with school-age individuals under approved supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students for special education eligibility and Section 504 considerations.
  • Administer cognitive, achievement, personality, and perceptual-motor tests as appropriate.
  • Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports for parents, teams, and administrators.
  • Lead MET/IEP-related meetings and contribute to educational planning and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support to students, families, and staff.
  • Support training for teachers on inclusive practices and state/federal regulations.
