Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a School Psychologist to support a partnering school district in Redford, Michigan. Help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally while collaborating with a dedicated school team.

You will diagnose and support students with mental health and behavioral needs, provide counseling, collaborate with educators and families, and participate in eligibility decisions and IEP planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from NASP-accredited program.
• Active state licensure or certification (or ability to obtain before start).
• Experience working in schools or with children.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and support students with mental health and behavioral needs.
• Provide individual and small group counseling services to students.
• Communicate with teachers and parents to develop support strategies, including IEPs.
• Collaborate with administrators to assess the effectiveness of mental health interventions.
• Conduct evaluations and provide input for special education eligibility and services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and professional standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
