Job summary

Charter One in North Carolina is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year at Wake Preparatory Academy. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities include providing psychological services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring compliance with IDEA and Child Find, and supporting students’ academic and social development. Travel between campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required and NC School Psychologist certificate
• Background check must be passed

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of school psychological services to children, including screening and assessment.
• Function as a member of the multidisciplinary team to determine eligibility for services, appropriate programming, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with IDEA and Child Find and maintain SPED records.
• Consult with education professionals to support student academic and social development.
• Administer, score, and interpret clinical assessments for students suspected of disability.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators for interventions and planning.
• Travel between campuses as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
