Job summary

Brooke Charter Schools in Boston seeks a School Psychologist to support students K-12 with social skills, self-regulation, and planning. You will conduct cognitive, academic, attention, and behavior assessments, and collaborate with families, teachers, and outside agencies to develop effective educational plans.

The role involves active participation in IEP and child study team meetings, crisis intervention, and referrals to services as needed, contributing to equitable, high-quality education

Qualifications

• Must hold a Massachusetts Educational Psychologist license or NASP national certification or MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education school psychologist license.
• Experience conducting cognitive, academic, attention, social/emotional and functional behavior assessments.
• Ability to write comprehensive educational reports and collaborate with families and school staff.
• Commitment to diversity and anti-racist practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individual or small groups in social skills, self-regulation, self-advocacy.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and classroom screenings to guide interventions.
• Participate actively in IEP and child study team meetings and referrals.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when needed.
