Qualifications

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Louisiana.
• Strong understanding of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education procedures.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with diverse age groups and a range of student needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across multiple schools.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student learning and mental wellness.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
• Provide consultation and recommendations to school staff and families for student support.
• Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community.
• Maintain thorough, confidential, and compliant documentation and records.
