Job summary

Soliant Health in Thibodaux, LA is seeking a school psychologist for a contract-based, full-time position (35 hours per week) with part-time flexibility. The itinerant role spans multiple K–12 campuses, requiring travel between sites to support students.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized plans, provide counseling, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families. Participation in IEP meetings and crisis intervention are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
• Strong background in assessments, counseling, and behavioral interventions.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel between school sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support student learning.
• Develop and implement individualized plans and interventions.
• Provide counseling to students individually and in groups.
• Work closely with educators and parents to address learning and behavioral challenges.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to IEP meetings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided.
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
