Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Psychology and appropriate certification/licensure.
• Strong collaboration with pupils, parents, school staff and outside agencies regarding mental health, behavior and educational concerns.
• Knowledge of MARSE/IDEA and related district policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations per MARSE/IDEA.
• Administer and interpret tests (intelligence, achievement, behavior, adaptive skills).
• Determine eligibility under MARSE categories and Section 504.
• Prepare clear, compliant evaluation reports in a timely manner.
• Support MTSS, PBIS and data-based decision making.
• Provide school psychological services and participate in IEP/MET teams.
• Explain results to parents and staff and assist in IEP goal development.
• Respond to crisis situations and contribute to safety planning.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records.
