Job summary

Van Buren Intermediate School District Learning Center in Lawrence, Michigan, is seeking a School Psychologist to lead MTSS and conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students across academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains.

The ideal candidate holds an Ed.S. in School Psychology and Michigan certification (or eligibility) and works closely with administrators, teachers, parents, and specialists to support student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ed.S. in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Strong new graduates and out-of-state candidates may be considered.
• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate or eligible for approval.

Responsibilities

• Assist MTSS and trauma-informed practices development and implementation.
• Conduct psychological assessments of academic, social, emotional, and behavior domains.
• Consult with parents, agencies, and school teams concerning educational, social-emotional, or behavioral needs.
• Assist with data collection and analysis for district decisions.
• Support students in understanding their strengths and areas of difficulty.
• Be a member of the child study team.
• Valid driver’s license required.
