Job summary

West Windsor - Plainsboro Regional School District High School North in Plainsboro, New Jersey seeks a School Psychologist for a leave replacement from January 2027 to June 2027. This 10-month contract reports to the Director of Special Services and Building Principal.

Responsibilities include assessment, counseling, IEP development, and collaboration with the Child Study Team to support student learning and social-emotional needs.

Qualifications

• New Jersey School Psychologist endorsement.
• Successful Criminal History Clearance.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization.
• Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant to school personnel in dealing with learning and social-emotional adjustment.
• Provide assessment, consultation, and intervention to help students meet educational goals.
• Participate in the Child Study Team for identification, diagnosis and development of appropriate programs.
• Administer standardized and informal assessments; identify needs and report results.
• Maintain records of student progress and ensure compliance with Least Restrictive Environment mandates.
• Provide counseling and develop IEPs for students requiring special education support.
