Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Psychologist (Certified) for a local contract position in Sebring, FL. This role focuses on providing psychological services to K–12 students, including assessments and eligibility evaluations, to support individualized education planning.

Qualifications include a Master’s in School Psychology and Florida certifications (Health and Education). The opportunity offers a stable 40-hour week over 41 weeks with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology.
• Active Florida Department of Health School Psychologist Certificate (Required).
• Active Florida Department of Education School Psychologist Certificate (Required).
• Experience working with K–12 students, including IEPs and 504 Plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and participate in eligibility evaluations to identify students’ needs.
• Participate in Child Study/Collaborative Problem-Solving meetings, IEP and 504 meetings, to develop interventions.
• Develop and recommend evidence-based intervention strategies for students, parents, and teachers.
• Collaborate with school staff and district teams to coordinate psychological services and maintain documentation.
