Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas is seeking a School Psychologist Intern to work under the supervision of a licensed School Psychologist in a K-12 setting. • Enrollment in an accredited graduate-level School Psychology program.
• Eligibility for and commitment to completing a school psychology internship.
• Ability to meet the internship requirements established by the student's university/program.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations.
• Collect student information, review records, observe and gather data.
• Administer assessment instruments under supervision.
• Score and interpret assessment results under supervision.
• Prepare evaluation reports and other documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation meetings.
• Assist with the special education evaluation process and IEP meetings.
• Review data and develop recommendations for educational supports.
• Monitor evaluation timelines and document accordingly.
• Develop understanding of IDEA, Section 504, Nevada requirements.
• Provide supervised behavioral and academic interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and related service providers.
• Communicate professionally with families under supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality per FERPA and school policies.
