Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency (KRESA) seeks a School Psychologist for WoodsEdge Learning Center in Portage, Michigan. Responsibilities include diagnostic evaluations, IEP participation, counseling, and program development to support student outcomes.

Formación

• Master’s degree in psychology.
• Approved Michigan School Psychologist certification.
• Understanding neurodevelopment of children.
• Experience with IEP processes.

Responsabilidades

• Align services with KRESA Core Values and Culture & Belonging to engage and serve all students.
• Conducts diagnostic evaluations to identify student needs, observe in classroom, consult with parents and staff, and interpret findings.
• Attends and participates in IEP meetings, plans treatment programs.
• Counsels students individually and in groups to assist personal, social, and emotional adjustment.
• Advises teachers on methods to enhance school and classroom atmosphere.
• Refer families to community agencies to secure services.
• Serves as consultant to school board and committees on psychological services.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
