Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in the Saint Louis area under a contract arrangement. You will administer assessments, develop interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility and generate actionable reports, while supporting two campuses within the district's Child Find program.

This role offers flexible scheduling across full-time, part-time, or short-term commitments aligned with the academic calendar.

Qualifications

  • Missouri certification as School Psychologist is required.
  • Experience conducting Child Find and special education assessments is preferred.
  • Experience with K-12 learners is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Administer comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for K-12 students.
  • Provide intervention strategies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Facilitate eligibility determinations and produce clear evaluation reports.
  • Consult with teachers, families, and staff regarding student needs and learning strategies.
  • Manage a rotating caseload (8-10 cases; annual average 32 when full-time).
  • Serve two school campuses as part of the district's Child Find team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Missouri Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting Child Find and special education assessments
  • Prior involvement working with K-12 learners preferred
  • Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to navigate time-sensitive credentialing (district fingerprinting and technology forms required)
  • Commitment to adhering to ethical and legal standards in school-based practice

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students across grades K-12
  • Provide intervention strategies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Facilitate special education eligibility determination processes and provide clear, actionable evaluation reports
  • Consult with teachers, families, and staff regarding student needs and learning strategies
  • Manage a rotating caseload averaging 8-10 cases, with a yearly average of 32 cases upon full-time assignment
  • Serve two school campuses (locations to be confirmed) as part of the districts Child Find team
