Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a School Psychologist for a Spring Semester contract near Hazen, AR. The role focuses on supporting students and staff, conducting evaluations, providing counseling, and collaborating with education teams to promote student well-being.

You will work with families and school personnel to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans, participate in MDT meetings, and ensure timely evaluation and documentation in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications

• Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field) from an accredited program.
• Experience with assessments, direct student interventions, and development of IEPs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for consulting with staff, students, and families.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results to guide educational planning.
• Deliver counseling and intervention services directly to students as appropriate.
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support effective IEPs and 504 plans.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommended interventions.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed in the school community.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to timelines for evaluation and compliance.
