Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Nevada is seeking a School Psychologist for a contract position to support students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being in a dynamic school environment.

You will conduct psychoeducational evaluations, participate in MDT meetings, consult with teachers and families, design interventions, assist in crisis response, and maintain confidential records following district and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility).
• Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field.
• Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and working with diverse student populations.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and legal requirements in educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to special education eligibility decisions.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student learning and emotional health.
• Design and implement direct and indirect interventions to address students academic and behavioral needs.
• Assist in crisis response, providing counseling and resources as needed.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines.
