Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based role in Barnegat, NJ for the 26/27 school year. This opportunity supports a local district and emphasizes helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey School Psychologist license/credential.
• Ed.S. or higher from NASP-approved program.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and participating in IEP processes.
• NJ DOE and NJ CHR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral).
• Collaborate with IEP teams, school staff, and families to support student success plans.
• Complete documentation, report writing, and eligibility meetings (remote documentation flexibility where permitted).
• Provide consultation and evidence-based recommendations to school teams.
• Work as part of a clinically led team focused on student outcomes and service quality.
