Job summary

The Northwestern Illinois Association is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves assessing cognitive, adaptive, academic, social, and emotional development and applying findings to support student growth.

You will administer and interpret assessments, develop intervention plans, provide direct counseling, and collaborate with educators and families to implement supports and participate in IEP meetings. 180 days, 7.5 hours a day.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology required.
• Illinois professional educator license with School Psychologist endorsement required.
• Proficiency with school-based technology including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Administer and score psychological assessments and interpret results.
• Analyze cognitive, adaptive, academic, social, and emotional development to support students.
• Develop and implement intervention plans with school staff.
• Provide direct counseling to students.
• Consult with staff and families to apply effective interventions.
