Job summary

Soliant Health in Illinois is seeking a School Psychologist for a contract assignment near Forest Park to support students academically and emotionally. Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.

  • Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.

Job description

Make an impact throughout the academic year by providing key psychological support to students in a dynamic school setting near Forest Park, IL. This contract position is created for a dedicated School Psychologist who thrives in educational environments and is passionate about helping students achieve success both academically and emotionally.

Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and student evaluations
  • Collaborating with educators, counselors, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Leading and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Delivering crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Assisting in the development of strategies for academic and behavioral improvement

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid School Psychologist certification for the state
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred

  • Deep understanding of federal and state special education regulations
  • Ability to assess and address a range of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

This assignment runs from August 12th through the full school year, offering an excellent opportunity to guide and support students as they navigate their educational journey.
